BURLINGTON – A 40-year-old Burlington woman was convicted Tuesday of financially exploiting a man 27 years her senior in one of the first cases to enforce Kentucky’s strengthened adult exploitation law.




It was unique because the defendant, Cathleen Kenter-Nevins, was the first person charged with the felony to go to trial and receive a verdict, Boone County Commonwealth’s Attorney Linda Tally Smith said. Read more...

Now after your read all that nonsense above, keep in mind; there was surely more people than just her that had their hand in the cookie jar when it came to this fellow. Very disturbing to see how it happened as well, but it seems with this fellow being sole heir to the massive fortune,

if he wasn't competent enough to spend the money, I can see why "others" took advantage of the situation.

Too bad someone didn't look out for his best interest, but apparently the court system is going to exercise some justice in this matter. I hope she serves time for her acts but according to the article above...

she obviously has chronic spending issues that would probably have her repeating the unkind acts as soon as she got out of jail. It just proves that people that you meet may not always have your best interest at heart.  :(
