Homeless Man with Golden Voice in Columbus Ohio
« on: January 05, 2011, 02:05:40 AM »

This fellow was seen at a street intersection less than 2 days ago. He's a homeless man that was looking for money and had a sign proclaiming he has a Golden Voice.

Here is the video on YouTube

This video was first posted on Yahoo, then moved to MSNBC and now it has gone viral on YouTube.com

Hopefully this fellow gets his opportunity and gets behind a microphone soon.

As fast as Ted Williams went from homeless on the side of a busy Columbus Ohio intersection to the fame and fortune of stardom, Ted William's past quickly became evident that problems lurked in the background that surfaced immediately for all to see.

His mention of 2 years sober evidentally wasn't true, along with issues of people he mistreated like his family over the years through abandonment of children, wifes and other family members. This in turn led to an argument with one of the members of his family that gained national attention when police were asked to intervene. It was then realized that the slippery slope was starting and Ted Williams was on a quick road downhill.

A round of morning talk shows, late night talk shows, even a voiceover promo for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese was his triumph, even the youtube video with over 6 million views was something dreams are made of. A quick visit with Dr. Phil and his family nearby reached a point where the now famous homeless man was in charge of critical thinking, one of which entertained drug and alcohol rehab.

Ted Williams has been near silent as a church mouse ever since. We hope he truly tries hard to follow the design, not to fall off the wagon and continue back into the rocket launching episode of his life that so many have seen firsthand, thanks to the internet and one lone person's interest in hearing someone speak, The Golden Voice that God Blessed him with.

We hope Ted pulls ahead of his struggles and enterprises on this fabulous moment. Would love to see and hear of a rags to riches story that has inspired so many.

We'll make sure to follow back and report the timeline of events for Ted Williams and his wonderful opportunity.

Here is an update of the now un-famous Ted Williams:

Ted Williams rise to the top from being a homeless person fighting drug addiction for years has landed him back into the world that he supposedly comfortable with. That "world" is the life of drinking, doing drugs. Even people at the top cannot survive these hardships that are self driven into their lives for whatever reason they may be, but keep in mind that you cannot erase all that is bad in your life in 30 days in treatment rehab.

Ted Williams chose to return back to this lifestyle as it probably serves as the easy way out. If you know anyone that is an alcoholic, it is so easy to "return" back to the lifestyle than to come to a point in life and never pick up the drink again. It usually takes rock bottom of numerous scenarios to play out to stop the destructive motions.

Ted was able to taste a piece of the world that brought him to what some could make millions, and he could drink all he wanted to. But the measure of a man can sometimes be gauged by how well he can operate with the vices that are stopping points for some.

Ted is most likely in his comfort zone, being homeless or small steps above it. I hope he has the ability to overcome his addictions, but who are we to decide what's best for Ted?

We all love a rags to riches story, we all love to see a homeless person go from the streets to hitting it big. Maybe Ted Williams just wanted to make a little bit of money instead of the millions we all wanted him to focus on, make us proud.

In a lot of ways the public can be judge and jury of another individual, wanting what we feel is best for them. There's a possibility, a real possibility that this man could work at your local grocery store, living in the poverty range and be fully content, enjoying the ability to wake up every day from a warm bed, food for nourishment and a reason to live.

There's nothing wrong with Ted doing what he feels is best for him, no matter what we personally feel is better for him.

Good luck Ted and I hope the answers come to you that serve you best.
