PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – A powerful earthquake struck Haiti's capital on Tuesday with withering force, toppling everything from simple shacks to the ornate National Palace and the headquarters of U.N. peacekeepers. They are saying as many as 500,000 people may end up dieing in Haiti as a result of this earthquake. Prayers to the families and loved ones.

They are stating that 150,000 plus people are buried in the rubble.
