Dunbar Plumbing was called out to determine the leak from a jetted tub on the second floor of a home on Bold Forbes Court in the Triple Crown subdivision in Union Kentucky. It was determined that the connection to the roman tub faucet had corroded at a copper fitting, the tee that serves the feed supply to both the hot and cold water supply once passing through the control valves. The location of the faucet was one that required removal of ceramic tile to gain access to the faucet. Access from the underside of the subfloor would of required a large amount of removal to reach the faucet.
We did not feel comfortable with this access as it involved too much work inside of a confined space with limited reach to pipe and fittings that needed to be removed and soldered back together. Below is the video of the work that was performed by Dunbar Plumbing.
