Title: Bury Hydrants - Outdoor Freestanding Faucets - Farm Use Faucets
Post by: DUNBAR PLUMBING on January 04, 2010, 02:03:09 AM
When it comes to installing or servicing these faucets, anyone have trouble finding plungers for the product you're working on? I've not worked on any of these in a long while, but the times I did, it was like working on a damn kohler faucet.  :-[

Most are exposed to the outdoor elements so it's hard to get the linkage apart, or it's just completely rusted together. The most common remedy, short of the attitude of fine adjusting the linkage is removing the head from the standpipe, pulling the entire device out without creating more work with missing screws or bolt linkage.

I'm so glad for the internet though; makes the locating of these parts possible. This way I can buy direct or least get a mfg. name for my local supply houses to work with.
