I drive through this intersection almost daily and I can see why they are putting it in. A very dangerous intersection that has seen many accidents.

This didn't take too long; I came home from work tonight and they had the new lights up.

What I saw was a flashing yellow arrow, meaning you're now allowed to turn left onto hands pike.

This "means" that traffic that is oncoming at 55+ mph has to worry about people dodging/turning in front of them now.

Personally I see wrecks coming out of this equation before anything else. Hopefully not.
