The Federal Communications Commission does not have the legal authority to slap Net neutrality regulations on Internet providers, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday.

This net neutrality discussion has been around for some time now, and the reality exists where this could just be a bump in the road, so to speak. Take for example, XM/SIRIUS satellite radio. They are the only two models for what is offered in satellite radio for a subscription fee.

What "can" happen in this likely scenario is your ISP selecting certain companies to deal with, only allowing you subscription type design to the entire internet.

The internet for the most part is endless, and accessible by all. Net Neutrality however would delegate "packages" chosen by your ISP or Internet Service Provider and if you want anything outside of that equation, it is going to cost you, just like for cable tv or cellular phone calling programs.

It comes down to someone wanting to make money on the bandwith that is used, some of which that are excessive in a lot of ways.

In other countries right now, Google Inc. is in a battle with certain countries and all but removing themselves from the equation until further notice. The power of the internet, especially certain "leading" companies are not be taken lightly, as they have such a dominating stronghold on the market share.

Thinking less of that synopsis and you're in denial.
