In regards to this subject matter, I've voiced an opinion on other sites regarding this topic and what it entails. The problem with this action being taken creates the ability of congress or the president to step in and make changes that can reverse this motion.
Recently a police department in Ohio was sued by an illegal immigrant from Mexico that claimed his human rights were violated by his detainment and removal, deportation back to Mexico because the arresting officer did not have the legal authority to arrest him.
This set the wheels in motion where everything is wrong from the go, a lawyer found out about this and the rest is a verdict in favor of the illegal immigrant who was here without US citizenship and profited from his hardship.
People for the most part like to discuss these matters but never "act" on them. All I can say is, this problem has been going on for decades and it seems that when the problem is so far out of control and action is taken? How in the hell are you ever going to stop it when it has reached this magnitude at this point? Seriously.
I think everyone in the United States should pay their own way, do their own share but that's never going to happen at this point. It just won't. In Kentucky there are a lot of farmers that utilize the cheaper labor that comes with hiring illegal immigrants, and no one really says a word because in the end the farmer prospers financially as a result. Do you blame them?
Do you blame yourself that the shirt/clothing you are wearing at this very moment was most likely designed/created by someone from a third world country for pennies on the dollar...
Or the computer we are all viewing these very words, it's not built by Americans. I'd like to say I support everything American but we are so cultured now by cheap/technology rich/throw-away design that it's no wonder we have evolved into a society that disposes of TV's and Telephones every 2 to 3 years because there is something better, but sit on a toilet that causes us frustration and money for endless years, not thinking the same for the product we use daily. It's the same.
Of course, people should not be here illegally. But we have fell asleep at the wheel a long time ago to correct the drive off the cliff on these matters.
