Here is some video/pictures of a leaking faucet supply line that had been leaking for literally months, undetected.


Not a good situation at all. Those drawers inside the cabinet were probably full of water and no way to get to them to remove all the water. We was able to pop loose an inside panel to see the side of the 4 drawers but no way to pull them out. Very expensive cabinet from the design as we could tell.

Corrugated chrome/copper tubing split right near the top of the piping before it connected to the brass shank of the faucet. Stress on the connection over years might be to blame, as well as numerous other factors regarding high water pressure, water quality possibly.

The tubing is extremely thin so to create a hole or crack in the tubing was not difficult. We replaced the defective supply tubing with a new 20" Fluidmaster Stainless Steel Supply Line to correct the situation and resolve the matter.
