Apparently the engineers of this design are to blame for this because there is evidence that numerous injuries including this now fatality is part of the equation that something is seriously wrong with the design of this track.

For those stating there should be padding on the pole? That would be useless at this point. Hard impacts are what they are; the blunt force from 90mph to zero is what killed him.

   Ya padding would do no good from what I saw.       They need to weld a big hunk of sheet metal across those beams or poles.      That was from 90 mph to 0mph instantly.     I wish I didn't see that.

I saw an article somewhere today where they built the wall up directly where that fellow crashed.

Now tell me; don't you think that offers the reasoning that installing that wall indicates a serious problem?

I think a lawsuit is in the works, I truly do.  :o
