Favorite Shows on Cable/TV
« on: January 10, 2010, 10:38:34 PM »

Everyone usually has some type of show on tv they like to watch on a regular basis.

The news, documentaries on 48 Hours, Dateline, 20/20 when I remember to watch them. Forensic Files is my favorite cable show as well as Operation Repo, show about a well-known bar in Dakota during Sturgis bike rally.

Mythbusters when I hear something plumbing related along with John Rowe's Dirtiest Jobs.

Watching the Today Show about breaking news is usually a pretty good bet in the mornings.

I mainly listen to these shows before watching visually. My computer screen is mere feet from the tv screen and I might actually mount my flat screen above my computer screen to always have the luxury of looking up when something comes on tv I might like to watch.

I like Chuck, Heroes, All the Law and Orders, Criminal Minds, Holmes on Homes, lots of the programs on Sci Fi channel, a big watcher of the prgrams on A & E, Tru tv, and the History channel.

You're probably right. They don't have spring training down in sarasota florida anymore...they are out in arizona now.

The Reds signed a contract with some Cuban for 25 million dollars. He doesn't speak english much but can throw a ball at almost 100mph.

They were lacking in their pitching dept. but it's a team effort to win a game. Pitching however does make a huge impact on how you stop the hits.

Conan O'brien is nothing but reruns at this point. I rarely watch the show but I'm curious to see how the breakup plays out over the next few months, leading into september.

Jay Leno came back on tonight, my beloved Law & Order shows were on as well.

Wasn't a big fan of the olympics at all. I can handle another 12 years without having to see what we have here in Kentucky all the time it seems right now. (Fing snow)

I can forsee Jay Leno's ratings to drop like a freaking rock here real soon. Trying to figure out why I'm still watching as the shows are really uninteresting. I believe he's having trouble lining up 'good' actors/important folks to make it interesting.

The repo show on TruTv is pretty good. Also Murder by the book.

Parenthood seems to be an interesting one as well.

The repo show is definitely scripted, otherwise these people wouldn't have the same consistent reactions. If you watch closely, you'll see that it happens almost carbon copy every single time...but maybe they do 10 repos and fit the one they want for tv.

Personally, if I was losing my shit and there was cameras all over...I'd say here's the keys no trouble from me.
You know anything you do in front of a camera has to be signed off for permission in the fashion you see on that show, since it is for financial gain.

Undercover Boss and Celebrity Apprentice are the latest two I've been watching.

I've been watching Forensic Files, along with all the other shows that is always on TruTv.

Always on in the background. But lately, I listen to AM radio a lot and listen to the Steve Sommers Truckin' Radio Network on 700WLW in Cincinnati Ohio.

American Pickers seems to be a real good show on the History Channel. Used to watch the Antiques Road Show years ago and this is a different turn in what treasures are found by trekking across the countryside and gathering up deals.

Pawn Stars is a really good show, along with Operation Repo, Southern Fried Stings (even though it's a little cheesy) World's Dumbest Criminals, Hardcore Pawn can be extremely interesting as well.  :PDT_Armataz_01_37:
